18 December, 2025 – New Delhi : Oman conferred its top national honour, The First Class of the Order of Oman, on PM Modi, recognising his contributions to strengthening bilateral ties.

This is PM Modi’s 29th global honour, following Ethiopia’s highest honour, the Great Honour Nishan of Ethiopia.
His visit to Oman marks 70 years of diplomatic relations, focusing on deepening strategic partnerships in trade, investment, energy, defence, and culture.
