CHANDIGARH, 17 SEPTEMBER: The Global Punjabi Association, in a special meeting held at its office premises in Sector 16 Chandigarh, passed a resolution to extend greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday.
The association members prepared a greetings letter which was signed by S. Iqbal Singh Lalpura, patron of the association; Col. Jaibans Singh, Vice President, Shri SR Ladhar, Global Convener of the SC/ST cell, S. Mohinder Singh, President of the Chandigarh Chapter, Col. Vivek Sharma, Vice President of the Chandigarh Chapter and other esteemed members of the association present in the meeting.
In the letter, the association has acknowledged that it draws huge motivation from Modi Ji’s exceptional leadership and positive vision for the development and welfare of not only ‘Maa Bharati’, but the whole universe.
The association has also acknowledged the deep love and care that the Prime Minister has been graciously bestowing on Punjab and Punjabis. He has touched the hearts of all Punjabis by understanding their feelings and taking affirmative action in ameliorating their concerns, especially in providing justice and relief to the victims of the ‘Sikh Genocide of 1984’ and by fulfilling the long standing demand of opening of the ‘Kartarpur Corridor.’
The association prays for the long life and good health of Shri Narendra Modi Ji and looks forward to contributing to the nation and the world under his able guidance.
